An article in the June 2009 O, The Oprah Magazine illustrates one unique way of dealing with grief - the accumulation of electronic gadgets. The author describes how her and her father coped with the death of her mother by going on a gadget shopping spree. Most of the items purchased were for her funeral - a projector, a digital recorder - but others were just grief numbing playthings.
