Considering a Job as a Hospice Nurse?

There is always a demand for compassionate and competent nurses in hospice and palliative care and it's a great field to be in. As a hospice nurse, you have the unique opportunity to be a part of something special, sacred, and deeply meaningful. You are there when patients and caregivers need you most.

But what exactly does a hospice nurse do? Do you need to be a Registered Nurse (RN) or will a license be enough?
