Today is Hospice Advocacy Virtual Hill Day

From Angela Morrow, RN, About.com GuideApril 21, 2010

Nearly 500 hospice advocates are on Capitol Hill today urging Members of Congress to protect access to compassionate end-of-life care.  You might not be in Washington D.C. today but you can still be a strong advocate for hospice care by contacting your legislators today.  The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) has made it easy for you to be a hospice advocate by connecting you to  your legislators toll-free and a providing a script of talking points you can use during the call.  The whole process should take only 15 minutes of your day and is well worth your time.
