Prepare for Death

Nobody wants to face death but no one can escape it.  We can, however, hope that our own death will be comfortable, peaceful, and personal.  Planning ahead and preparing for death is the best way to make sure your death is all of those things.  Follow these tips to prepare for your own death.

One issue that many families overlook is the issue of what will happen to the patient’s pet(s) when he or she dies. Many patients fear bringing this up more than anything, worried that they’ll hear that the animal will be “put down.” If your dying loved one has pets, take a few moments to reassure him or her that the animals will be loved and cared for. The conversation takes only a few moments, and it will be such a load off your loved one’s mind.
