"Definition of Cremation"

Definition:
The process where the remains of a person and the container encasing are exposed to extreme heat and flame. The process results in reducing the bone fragments to a uniform size and consistency.

The reduction of a corpse to ashes as a way of disposing of it.

The incineration of a dead body.
