Guide Review - The End of Life Advisor - Book Review

"The End of Life Advisor: Personal, Legal, and medical Considerations for a Peaceful, Dignified Death" reads almost as long as it's title. Written by a mother-daughter hospice nurse team, the book is full of useful information about end-of-life care but you have to get through several laboring stories to get there.

Not that the stories are bad, they just seem a little awkward and scripted. But get past the vignettes and the meat of the book is thoughtfully planned out and covers all the bases in end-of-life care planning.

The wisdom of years of nursing experience in hospice shows as this mother-daughter team use compassionate humor to illustrate some of the most difficult situations one can imagine.
